Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in the Bakersfield, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $33/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including EMT conduit, underground PVC, and pulling circuit wires
• Layout, install, and connect fire alarm control panels, back boxes, smoke detectors, and notification appliances
• Ensure all electrical and fire alarm installations comply strictly with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 72) standards
• Troubleshoot, test, and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and code compliance

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in commercial electrical work
• Must have a strong, demonstrable understanding of current local fire alarm codes and NFPA 72 requirements
• Must own basic electrical hand tools and cordless tools (including benders)
• All PPE
