RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct regular foot patrols to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents and dispatch calls, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety in accordance with policy and law.
• Contacting emergency personnel when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports on incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, patrols, and observations.

SKILLS:

• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to demonstrate discipline and commitment to safety.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks
• Experience with the transient population and ability to de-escalate volatile situations is advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card.
• Possess a high school education or equivalent (GED).
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Baton, OC spray, & handcuff permits are required within 90 days of hire.

Pay rate & hours will be discussed during the interview process

• Valid BSIS Guard Card

Job Types: Part time, weekends, day & swing shift

Pay: Begins at $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
