We have the following position at our Kern Varner Brothers Inc. Hauling division:
Yard AttendantÂ
The Yard Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and yard area.
SALARY RANGE:Â $19.20Â hour - $21.45/hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Division yard cleaning and organization activities.
- Barrel and Bin Cleaning
- Repairs (barrels only and assist welder with bins as needed)
- Container inventory & organization
- Janitorial cleaning (vacuuming, restroom cleaning, empty trash containers, etc)
- Parking lot and entryway cleaning
- Landscape cleaning (weeding, shrubs, trees, and grass areas)
- SWPPP Maintenance & Litter Control (on-site BMPs) – Daily
- Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a safety-sensitive environment.
PHYSICAL:
- Ability to make sound judgment.
- Ability to stand continuously during assigned shift and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat and kneel.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions
