- We have a robust team of 11 doctors, 40 veterinary assistants, 12 registered veterinary technicians, 14 receptionists, 11 kennel assistants, 3 janitorial team members, a dedicated pharmacy assistant, and 5 members of management.Â
- Facilities/technology: 7Â exam rooms, an overnight sleeping room, digital radiographs, dental radiographs, ligasure, ultrasound, 2 oxygen chambers, a dedicated surgical suite, a dedicated dental suite, we offer boarding services
- Hands-free radiology strongly encouraged
- AAHA accredited
- Board certified cardiologist, criticalists, and dermatologists that visit our clinic at least once per month seeing cases.
- VCA Bakersfield has been in operations since 1929.Â

Compensation
- The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $180,000.
- Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Â
- This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.Â

Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
