Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Medical Provider to join our Mobile Medical Clinic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to bring high-quality healthcare directly to underserved communities throughout our service area.


Working within a collaborative, team-based care model, the Mobile Clinic Medical Provider delivers comprehensive primary care services while partnering closely with nurses, behavioral health providers, pharmacists, care coordinators, and fellow medical providers to improve community health outcomes.



As a Mobile Clinic Medical Provider, you will: 

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
  • Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
  • Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, health plans, and community organizations.
  • Deliver evidence-based medical care while maintaining current clinical knowledge and continuing education requirements.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, coding, and management of electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support whole-person health.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and clinical guideline development.
  • Respond to patient communications and support after-hours outpatient call responsibilities.
  • Attend provider meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and organizational initiatives.
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of MCHP in every patient and teammate interaction.



Qualifications: 

  • Current unrestricted North Carolina medical license.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or specialty appropriate to licensure. 
  • Active DEA license without restrictions. 
  • Ability to travel throughout the MCHP service area and to off-site meetings. 
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS preferred. 
  • Previous experience in community health, rural health, mobile health, or family medicine settings.

  • Travel to multiple clinic locations throughout the service area.

  • Exposure to conditions common in healthcare environments, including communicable diseases and medical substances.
