Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Rate: $32-$37/hr on W2

Summary:
In this role, you will support the daily operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining vacuum chambers, vacuum systems, pumps, compressors, HVAC equipment, cooling water systems, and other production machinery.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair vacuum chambers, vacuum pumps, compressors, dryers, and HVAC-related systems.
  • Install, repair, and replace tubing, fittings, valves, pumps, and cooling water lines.
  • Diagnose equipment issues including leaks, pressure problems, and mechanical failures.
  • Monitor compressor and dryer performance and document equipment readings.
  • Perform mechanical repairs and equipment adjustments to minimize downtime.
  • Support installation of equipment, custom fixtures, and manufacturing projects.
  • Perform basic soldering and occasional light welding when needed.
  • Read and follow simple wiring diagrams for basic electrical connections.
  • Safely use hand and power tools while following manufacturing safety procedures.
Qualifications / Skills:
Required
  • 2–4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Vacuum systems or vacuum chambers
  • Pumps and compressors
  • HVAC or refrigeration systems
  • Tubing, fittings, and water lines
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Mechanical troubleshooting
Preferred
  • HVAC or refrigeration technician experience.
