Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Gate Control in Baldwinsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $18.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and/or maintain access records to help support authorized access throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including exterior gates, parking areas, receiving zones, and other restricted areas as assigned.
• Observe incoming and outgoing traffic, assist with screening of visitors, vendors, and/or shipments, and report suspicious, unauthorized, or policy-related concerns according to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
