93-004 – Activity Security Representative I
Position Overview
Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking an Activity Security Representative I to support Department of Defense Special Access Program activities at Andrews AFB, Maryland.
The Activity Security Representative provides multi-disciplined security support to government facilities and organizations. The position provides day-to-day support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Maintain document accountability records and associated correspondence.
- Process classified mail and receipt records.
- Perform destruction of classified materials.
- Process accountable magnetic media.
- Support reproduction of classified materials.
- Maintain document control and administrative security logs.
- Process inbound and outbound data transfer files.
- Transfer electronic files to authorized internal customers.
- Maintain customer point-of-contact databases.
- Research, process, file, and maintain visit notices.
- Escort visitors and maintain associated visitor logs.
- Assist with preparation of facility access badges.
- Conduct entry and exit inspections.
- Support visitor control and facility access control systems.
- Maintain personnel access and security records.
- Support personnel security file maintenance.
- Follow and enforce applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Support security education and awareness programs.
- Perform administrative support duties as directed.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of related experience.
- SAP experience desired.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive security records and information.
- Ability to operate effectively within a classified government environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree desired.
- A Bachelor’s degree counts as four years of experience.
- An Associate’s degree in a related area counts as two years of experience.
Experience / Certification Equivalencies
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification counts toward one year of experience.
- Special Program Security Certification counts toward one year of experience.
- Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is three years.
- One year of experience may be credited for each separate SPED certification, not to exceed three years total.
Security Clearance Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
- Must possess or be eligible for SCI access.
- Must be eligible for access to Special Access Program information.
- Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
