Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. This position in located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides high-performance, highly available networking services to support business and mission needs.
- Responsible for engineering and operational assignments related to deployed solutions backed by Cisco and SolarWinds on multi-level IT systems.
- Provides O&M support for networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls, encryption devices, copper/fiber connectivity).
- Supports internal escalation tiers for advanced troubleshooting and rapid remediation of networking challenges.
- Maintains documentation for networking systems, subsystems, and components, including capacity and performance plans.
