Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. This position in located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for detailed design, documentation, coding, code optimization, unit testing, deployment, and improvements of desktop and web-based solutions on Microsoft platforms (.NET, ASP.NET, C#, etc.).
Performs custom software development when commercial solutions are unavailable.
Ensures software code is developed and maintained per USG Information Assurance and Security standards.
Designs, implements, and manages middleware solutions for communication and data exchange between applications and systems.
Ensures seamless integration, optimizes performance, and troubleshoots middleware/application infrastructure issues.
