Mohawk Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our growing team!Â
This finance manager must have previous automotive finance experience and have knowledge of menu selling, compliance, and lender relations. Our finance team is expected to maintain a high per vehicle profit average and be compliant to all rules and regulations. Job duties for an F&I Manager include:
- Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Process financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources and through the proper federal, state, and corporate channels.
- Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle and finance departments.
- Train and provide the Sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.Â
Job Qualifications:Â
- Able to work extended hours to meet business needs. This includes some nights and Saturday shifts.Â
- Proven track record of achieving strong finance, product, and compliance performance
- Extensive knowledge of automotive lending, leasing, lender programs, and deal structure
- Experience with menu selling and presenting F&I products in a transparent, customer-focused manner
- Thorough understanding of all applicable federal, state, and dealership compliance regulations, including Truth in Lending, Red Flags Rule, OFAC, Safeguards Rule, and other automotive retail compliance requirements
- Strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and indirect lending partners
- Ability to secure financing for customers across a wide range of credit profiles
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and create a positive purchase experience
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including some evening and Saturday shifts
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM software, and F&I software platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
