Capital Area Physical Therapy and Wellness is a physical therapist owned practice with 5 locations in the capital region. We have a focus on manual therapy and evidence based care in a lively, positive environment. One on one mentorship is available to new graduates. Compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with physical therapists in treating orthopedic and neurologic conditions while following a physical therapist's plan of care
  • Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
  • Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
  • Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
  • Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
  • Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
  • Consult and practice with other health professionals
  • Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
  • Document patient care services
Skills

  • Proven work experience as a physical therapist
