We are seeking a Jr Project Manager to support our Albany Portfolio. The Jr Project Manager assists with all vacant apartment capital improvement renovations throughout all identified units within the outlined region above. Involvement includes but is not limited to ensuring identified units are renovated in accordance with projected timelines and budgets as well as quality of product (fit and finish).


Key Responsibilities:
  • Upon unit assignment, collaborate with the Corporate Construction Coordinator to provide all necessary information for completing the 'Rent Managers' scope of work, including User Defined Fields, amenities, and start/expected end dates.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of material orders.
  • Work alongside the Construction Coordinator to assign appropriate vendors and suppliers for each renovation project.
  • Develop a detailed action plan with the Construction Coordinator, outlining the sequence of tasks and actions required to complete the vacancy renovation within the projected timeline.
  • Monitor renovation progress to ensure timelines are adhered to, addressing and resolving any issues that may cause delays.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between contractors and Eagle Rock.
  • Track and document renovation progress through regular reporting and photographic updates.
  • Ensure renovation budgets align with parameters set by Asset Management, identifying and implementing necessary solutions while securing approvals for any work outside the approved scope.
  • Actively participate in weekly conference calls with all relevant parties, including Property Management, to maintain clear communication on progress and expectations.
  • Oversee quality control throughout the renovation process.
  • Review and approve related invoices in AVID.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of project management experience in a leadership role
  • In-depth general construction knowledge
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure systems
  • Highly organized
  • Candidate with knowledge of local vendors preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual is a plus
