We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activity Coordinator to plan and lead daily recreational and wellness activities for our participants. The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults, has a positive attitude, and can create engaging programs that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being.

Responsibilities

  •  Plan and lead daily group activities and special events 
  •  Organize arts and crafts, games, music, exercise, and social programs 
  •  Adapt activities to meet participants’ physical and cognitive abilities 
  •  Encourage participation and social interaction 
  •  Maintain monthly activity calendars and supply inventory 
  •  Assist with holiday celebrations and community outings 
  •  Monitor participant safety and engagement during activities 
  •  Work closely with caregivers and interdisciplinary staff 
  •  Document attendance and participant involvement 
Qualifications

  •  High school diploma or GED required 
  •  Experience working with seniors, adults with disabilities, or in healthcare preferred 
  •  Strong communication and organizational skills 
  •  Creative, patient, and dependable personality 
  •  Ability to lead groups and keep participants engaged 
  •  CPR/First Aid certification preferred
