The Carpentry Maintenance Mechanic I performs maintenance, repair, fabrication, installation and modification work on buildings/components, offices, corridors, etc.. This work is performed under general supervision using the tools and techniques of carpentry technology. This position has a focus on roofing.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Requires 5 years related work experience, including 2 years experience in metal framing, drywalls and all types of floorings and ceiling applications. The full-time equivalent spent in a state-approved program may count toward the 5-year work experience requirement.

Salary Range: Minimum 26.96 per hour - Maximum 31.30 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
