We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our central Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, supporting internal clients across Erickson communities.  In this role, you will identify business opportunities by partnering with internal stakeholders and then building robust models to measure and forecast the execution of strategic initiatives.  The ideal Financial Analyst will be a proactive and creative problem solver that plays a key role in enhancing management’s understanding of financial and operational results and aids in decision making through well-articulated communications and analytical skills.

This role is onsite at our corporate office location in Catonsville, MD, with 1 remote day per week.

Compensation: $70,000 - 80,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus  

How you will make an impact 

  • Monitor business lines and programs to evaluate adherence to established plans and goals, inclusive of in-depth variance and trend analysis.

  • Conduct financial analysis and complex modeling to promote efficient financial operations and implement new initiatives.

  • Consult with business areas to determine analytical needs and assist with improvements in management reporting including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.

  • Participate in enterprise projects to improve data [operational and financial] infrastructure.

  • Support recurring financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

  • Assist leadership with ad-hoc specialized analyses & solution development

What you will need  

  • Minimum 2 years of experience, with superior quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.  Experience with visualization and analytics software such as Power BI, Oracle Analytics, Tableau or Qlik Sense preferred.

  • Working understanding of accounting principles, concepts, and mechanics required. 

  • Experience with business case analysis and financial model development required.

  • Project management experience preferred.

  • Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate financial and operational information
