Job DetailsJob Location: Baltimore, MD 21215Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 HourlyJob Category: RegularThe Administrative Assistant for Chief Operating Officer of Corporate Compliance & Risk Management provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and compliance support to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) with a strong focus on risk, safety, and regulatory readiness. The role is responsible for coordinating and documenting Risk Management, EOC, and Safety committee meetings, managing CCO schedules, and clerical supporting for required reporting for regulatory and accrediting bodies, including Joint Commission, FTCA & OSV. The role also serves as the primary intake point for patient complaints, incidents, and grievances, ensuring proper documentation, tracking, and adherence to Policy No. 48 and related procedures, while supporting broader organizational compliance policies, manuals, and leadership initiatives. Admin Liaison In addition, the position Admin Liaison reports to Pres & CEO, this role entails reporting  office operations (Facilities, and Security) to leadership in addition to, notification of the building landlord any findings that impacts MFHC Safety, and access controls.  Security issues  are reported to Human Resource Department. Essential Functions Scheduling Safety & Risk Committee Meetings, Posting Minutes & Agenda for (CCO) executive review. Documents and maintain minutes for COO of CCO & Risk/Safety Committee.  Maintaining appointment-scheduling system adjusting, as needed. Provide clerical support in preparation of required reporting for PIC, RISK Management, Safety Management, Joint Commission, OSV, FTCA, and the Governing Board. Assists in the preparation of center manuals, protocols, guidelines and clerical support. Responsible for monitoring usage of department supplies and ordering replacements Report malfunction of computer or copier equipment   Communicates with HR re: MFHC Security Coverage re: internal issues Maintains & distributes MFHC Keys & Passwords. Composes and types routine correspondence after review of Leadership Conducts MFHC Monthly Fire Extinguisher checks, Hazard Surveillance Checks, HVA Serves as first point of contact for all Patient Complaints, Incidents, Grievances. Collaborates with the CCO regarding appropriate response to patient before responding to patient complaints. Maintains record of all patient complaints, etc. and efforts to resolve those complaints. Qualifications Setting required advanced education (associate or bachelor’s degree) preferred. High School Diploma and 3 year minimum experience in  Ambulatory Healthcare. Knowledgeable of healthcare risk and potential safety issues that may impact the organization required. Familiar with medical terminology Experience in supporting executive level leadership. Must have the ability to step up to the plate to help CCO meet tight regulatory deadlines. Joint Commission, FTCA, OSV, Emergency Management & Risk Management. Must be organized and able to multitask. Must have experience or is knowledge re: regulatory reviews i.e. Joint Commission, etc. Must have the ability to oversight the MFHC Facility & Security responsibilities. Report to CEO & HR.
