About the Role

We’re looking for a client-focused billing partner to join our team as Billing Client Experience Partner. In this role, you will serve as the primary billing contact for an assigned portfolio of clients, delivering timely, accurate, and proactive support throughout the billing lifecycle. The role partners with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries, explain billing activity, coordinate issue resolution, and promote a consistent, positive client experience. You will support operational excellence through effective client relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, sound billing knowledge, and consistent execution of established billing processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage assigned client billing relationships. Serve as the primary billing contact for assigned clients by responding to billing inquiries, explaining invoices, adjustments, variances, and billing processes, and maintaining proactive communication throughout the billing lifecycle. Build trusted client relationships through timely, accurate, and professional service while reinforcing standard billing policies and procedures.
  • Research and resolve billing inquiries. Investigate routine and moderately complex billing questions by reviewing invoices, billing transactions, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with Billing Operations, Finance, Collections, Client Success, and other internal partners to resolve issues while maintaining ownership of client communication through completion. Escalate highly complex or systemic issues as appropriate.
  • Analyze billing activity and support proactive client communication. Review billing reports, dashboards, and billing activity to identify variances, recurring issues, or trends affecting assigned clients.
  • Work with the Billing Business Analyst to understand data insights and translate findings into clear, client-ready explanations. Proactively communicate anticipated billing impacts when appropriate.
  • Support process consistency and continuous improvement. Identify recurring client issues, process gaps, or opportunities to improve billing accuracy, communication, or efficiency.
  • Share recommendations with leadership and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, documentation updates, testing activities, and implementation of approved process enhancements.
  • Maintain operational excellence. Complete case documentation, follow established service levels, maintain accurate client records, and support departmental objectives through effective workload management, knowledge sharing, and participation in team initiatives and projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in billing operations, finance operations, client service, customer support, or a related field.
  • Experience resolving customer or client inquiries in a professional environment.
  • Ability to analyze billing information and identify routine billing discrepancies.
  • Experience using billing systems, case management systems, reporting tools, or similar business applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple client requests while maintaining accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: College/University degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting business-to-business clients.
  • Experience with billing, invoicing, disputes, adjustments, or finance shared services.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Xcelerate, Mainframe, or similar systems.
  • Experience working in cross-functional operational environments.

Compensation

The hiring base salary range for this position is $60,400-$90,600 annually. This range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the expected base salary at the time of posting. Salary ranges may vary based on the geographic location where the work is performed. The salary range listed in this posting applies only to the location identified. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the successful candidate's qualifications, knowledge, skills, experience, internal pay equity, and relevant market data. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in annual incentive programs, including bonuses, commissions, or other incentive compensation, as applicable to the role.
