The Director of Supply Chain will lead continuous improvement initiatives, develop strong supplier and logistics partner relationships, monitor industry trends and market conditions, and drive operational excellence across all supply chain functions. Chain Job Requirements:     Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics,     Engineering, or related field  10+ years of progressive supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment  Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a director role   5+ years of leadership experience managing managers and cross-functional teams  Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and logistics  Proven experience developing and implementing supply chain strategies and cost-reduction initiatives  Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, inventory investments, working capital, and cost optimization initiatives  Excellent leadership, of Supply Chain Job Responsibilities:    Develop and execute the company's annual & long-term supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans  Lead the planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution functions across all manufacturing locations, copackers, warehouses, and distribution centers  Establish long-term supply chain capabilities that improve service, efficiency, resilience, and profitability  Serve as the primary supply chain advisor to senior leadership regarding risks, opportunities, market trends, industry developments, and strategic initiatives  Provide strategic oversight of supply chain planning, inventory management, procurement, and replenishment processes  Ensure appropriate inventory policies are maintained to balance service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency  Drive inventory optimization initiatives across all facilities, copackers, and third-party locations  Monitor forecast accuracy and develop action plans to improve planning effectiveness   Oversee procurement of packaging materials, finished goods, supply chain-related services and develop logistics strategies that improve service initiatives and network efficiency projects  Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions and business risks while monitoring geopolitical events, port congestion, labor issues, regulatory changes, and market conditions that may impact the supply chain  Develop annual supply chain operating budgets and monthly forecasts, including freight, warehousing, packaging procurement, inventory carrying costs, and third-party logistics expenses  Partner closely with Finance to develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range business plans while monitoring supply chain spending against budget and implement corrective actions when necessary  Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, landed cost calculations, freight allocations, and cost accounting practices  Lead efforts to identify and quantify transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain operations  Review and approve significant supply chain expenditures, purchase commitments, freight agreements, contracts  Lead negotiations for strategic supplier, transportation, warehousing, and service contracts to secure favorable pricing, service levels, and commercial terms  Provide executive leadership with regular reporting on supply chain financial and efficiency performance, cost trends, inventory investment, working capital, and savings initiatives  Establish and monitor key supply chain performance indicators and dashboards, utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and identify operational opportunities  Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, service improvement, inventory optimization, process standardization, and automation while staying informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments that may create opportunities or risks for the business   Provide leadership, coaching, and development for direct reports and broader supply chain teams, conduct performance
