Your Role: 

Responsible for daily fitness center functions including membership enrollment, customer service, teaching group fitness classes, equipment cleaning, safety protocols.  Interacts with members and program participants to deliver safe, effective, and enjoyable exercise classes in accordance with the objectives and policies set forth by Elevation Corporate Health. Provides excellent leadership, up-to-date quality instruction, and high-energy motivation to members and participants in order to maximize participation, outcomes, and customer satisfaction.

This Job Description outlines the duties and responsibilities for the above position. The duties outlined herein include:

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Fitness Center Orientations – memberships & tours

• Membership administration – Portal enrollment, waivers, assistance with auditing

• Assist with day to day operations of the fitness center

• Health Education and Promotion

• Incentive Programming

• Wellness Initiatives (bulletin boards, newsletters, lunch n learns)

• Group exercise class instruction, up to 4 classes per week

• Floor supervision and equipment maintenance

• Personal Training

• Utilize social media to update information: Facebook, website, etc.

• Help with equipment upkeep and inventory

• Performing safety checks to maintain a safe work environment

• Customer service – answering calls & questions

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Fitness workouts

• Emergency protocols

What we are looking for: 

• Education: 

  • CPR and AED required

  • BS in Exercise Science or related field

  • Obtain/Maintain group fitness certification

• Experience: 

  • Previous experience in teaching group exercise preferred 

  • Mind/Body group exercise experience is a plus

    • Wednesday 1pm-9pm, Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday 1pm-9pm, Saturday 10am-6pm

• Skills: Excellent communication skills, Google Suite, and Canva
