Responsibilities

This person is responsible for maintaining the surgical schedules of 1-2 physicians. This includes scheduling the surgery, verifying the patient’s insurance, pre-authorizing the surgeries and maintaining contact with the patient throughout the scheduling process. Other duties to include patient registration, scanning and charge entry to assist the team when warranted. Some travel may be required.


Requirements

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Education and Work Experience:
    • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
    • 3-4 years working in a surgeon’s office.
    • 1-2 years surgical scheduling experience preferred.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Travel to satellite offices may be required.

Max

USD $36.27/Hr.

Salary Information

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
