Job Summary
The GAF Baltimore Plant is seeking a Production Machine Operator to assist on the production line where needed. Duties include, but are not limited to, machine operation, quality verification, packaging, general housekeeping, and forklift operation.
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Essential Duties
Safely operate processing machinery and equipment required to manufacture shingle products.
Perform equipment safety checks, shutdown, cleanup, and startup procedures.
Conduct regular quality verification, packaging tasks, and material handling.
Maintain workplace cleanliness and complete routine housekeeping.
Safely operate a forklift as required by production needs.
Qualifications Required
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Demonstrated strong commitment to Safety and Quality.
Minimum of 1 year of machine operating experience in a high-speed process environment.
Willingness and availability to work 7 days a week on a rotating shift schedule.
