Overview

The Program Manager will serve as a key operational leader for the Center, working independently and collaboratively with the Center Directors and Site Principal Investigators to coordinate and advance the Center's mission of developing precision rehabilitation programs. This position requires strategicthinking, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex, multi-site research initiatives.

Responsibilities

Program Management: Collaborate with Center Directors to develop and maintain detailed project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for all Center activities. Prepare reports and presentations for Center leadership, NIH, and stakeholders

Grant Solicitation & Award Management: Design and implement the grant solicitation process for pilot projects. Coordinate review panels, including recruitment of reviewers. Track application submissions, reviews, and award decisions. Monitor progress of funded projects

Scholars Program Coordination: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-quality scholars and mentors. Coordinate application review processes and organize applicant interviews. Track scholar progress, publications, and career outcomes

Meeting & Event Management: Organize and coordinate External Advisory Board meetings. Manage logistics for conferences, webinars, site visits, and collaborative meetings. Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and minutes in collaboration with Directors.

Webinar Series Management: Identify relevant topics and recruit speakers in consultation with Center Directors. Manage speaker invitations, confirmations, and logistics. Promote webinars to target audiences and manage registration. Moderate sessions and coordinate Q&A discussions. Archive recordings and track attendance metricsCommunication & Dissemination: Develop and distribute recruitment materials for scholars. Support dissemination of research findings through newsletters, social media, and other channels. Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and publications highlighting Center achievements

Database & Documentation Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive databases tracking program activities, participants, publications, presentations, and grants. Ensure compliance with data management and reporting requirements. Track metrics for grant and scholar program evaluation andcontinuous improvement

Administrative Support: Serve as primary point of contact for Center-related inquiries. Support preparation of NIH progress reports and renewal applications. Facilitate cross-site communication and collaboration between other P50 groups.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:• MS in neuroscience, biology or engineering required.• PhD in neuroscience, biology or engineering preferred.

EXPERIENCE:• Must have a minimum of two years rehabilitation research experience or related management skills.

Minimum pay range

USD $64,501.01/Yr.

Maximum pay range

USD $114,089.46/Yr.
