Atlas Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Regional Chef to provide culinary leadership and operational oversight across multiple restaurants within their designated region.
This role is ideal for a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment and is passionate about developing people, elevating the guest experience, and creating exceptional food. The Regional Chef will work closely with the Corporate Chef, Executive Chefs, restaurant leadership, and ownership to drive culinary excellence, innovation, consistency, and financial performance across the region.
What You'll Do
- Oversee culinary operations across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and operational excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Executive Chefs, Sous Chefs, and culinary teams while fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with the Corporate Chef and ownership to innovate and elevate culinary operations.
- Develop, modify, and implement menus that reflect each restaurant's unique concept while meeting Atlas Restaurant Group's quality standards.
- Create seasonal menu selections based on ingredient availability, culinary trends, and guest preferences.
- Monitor food and labor costs, including budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, and expense management.
- Review operating budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and financial performance.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and support the procurement of high-quality ingredients at favorable prices.
- Monitor guest feedback and food reviews to identify opportunities to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure culinary teams maintain compliance with all applicable food safety, sanitation, storage, preparation, and health regulations.
- Monitor food facility health permits and food handler certifications to ensure compliance with local Department of Health requirements.
- Partner with restaurant management teams to ensure seamless alignment between back-of-house and front-of-house operations.
- Train culinary teams on cooking techniques, plating standards, kitchen efficiency, and best practices.
- Support equipment purchasing and repair needs across the region.
- Review menu pricing and merchandising strategies and support broader brand awareness and marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of high-volume, fine-dining experience.
- 5+ years of kitchen management experience within a multi-unit organization.
- ServSafe certification required.
- Experience with restaurant and business technology, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Avero, xtraCHEF, Restaurant365, ADP Workforce Now, Toast, and other restaurant management systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
Physical & Work Environment
This position requires the ability to work in a variety of restaurant and corporate environments. The Regional Chef should be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and may occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Total Rewards
The base salary range for this role is $130,000-$135,000, aligned with your experience, leadership scope, and the impact you bring to the business.
