Position Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor oversees daily dining operations within our Independent Living and Residential Care dining venues, ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence, and resident satisfaction. This role serves as a key leader and mentor for dining staff, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and customer service.

What you will be doing: Â
As the Restaurant Supervisor, you will be assisting our residents in our formal dining venue, The Landing. Duties include:
- Lead and supervise front-of-house dining operations.
- Coach, train, and develop dining team members to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management.
- Maintain a visible presence during meal service to support staff and address resident concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor dining quality, service standards, and resident satisfaction.
- Conduct staff training and ongoing service excellence programs.
- Support catered events, special functions, and resident programs.
- Collaborate with culinary and dining leadership teams to continuously enhance the resident dining experience.
- Serve as a leader and role model, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and service excellence.

What we are looking for:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a restaurant, hospitality, healthcare dining, senior living, or CCRC environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred:
- Associate degree or higher.
- ServSafe Certification or Food Handler Certification.
- Experience in senior living, healthcare dining, or upscale hospitality environments.
- Knowledge of both Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) operations.
