KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is recruiting for a Survey Technician with 5+ years' experience. The Survey Technician will work in conjunction with a Professional Land Surveyor to perform a wide variety of survey related tasks, including preparation of topographic, special purpose, ALTA/NSPS, and other surveys, as well as preparing construction stake-outs, using Civil 3D to prepare drawings and maps from field data collected by field technicians. Responsibilities: Communicate with team and supervisor about workload and needs Construction stakeout computations for field crews using construction plan sets Prepare and check cutsheets for construction stakeout work Records research to prepare deed mosaics for boundary/ALTA jobs Process and interpret survey data collected in the field Maintain and organize digital and paper survey records Collaborate with planners, project managers and engineers regarding projects Communicate daily with field crews to provide direction and support for ongoing projects Perform QC/QA on different types of survey deliverables Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of survey experience MD driver’s license Must be punctual and reliable Must be able to read cursive Preferred Experience and Certifications: Associate’s Degree in a Survey Related Field and/or formal CAD training Certified Survey Technician Level I, II, or III Minimum of 5 years of survey related AutoCAD or Civil3D/Carlson experience Education: High school diploma Compensation: $25.00-$45.00/hour (equal to $52,000-$93,600 annually) Position eligible for overtime Position eligible for discretionary bonuses at the sole discretion of the company Benefits: Company-paid mental health program 401(k) with match Health, Dental, and Vision insurance $25,000 company-paid Life insurance Supplemental Life and Disability insurance Paid time off Paid parental leave Professional Development Assistance Referral program Tuition reimbursement   KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
