The Sustainability, Health & Safety (SHS) Program Manager has accountability to support continuous improvement of the Sustainability, Health & Safety (SHS) program performance by ensuring program implementation, adherence, and evaluation. This position supports operations leadership through consulting, coaching, and mentoring to ensure program implementation in alignment with strategic performance targets as directed by their manager.

The salary for this role will range between $110,000 to $130,000 based on education and/or experience.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develops and executes a 1-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager’s business plan.  
  • Ensures consistent application of the Badger safety program across the organization, by SHS professionals, Badger employees and other stakeholders.
  • Maintains a strong safety culture across the assigned area and throughout Badger.
  • Adheres to and supports adoption of applicable regulatory changes and communicates the appropriate changes to Badger personnel.
  • Conducts priority-based area visits across the organization to complete coaching, mentoring and trust. 
  • Travel: 60%-70% 
     

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: Undergraduate degree, Graduate degree preferred. 
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal, state, provincial and local safety, transportation, and environmental regulations
  • Knowledge of industry safety training
  • 5+ years’ experience preferred in the following Industries:
    • Vacuum, Pump Trucks, or Fleet
    • Commercial Underground Construction and/or Utilities
    • Oil and Gas
    • Waste
