KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is recruiting for a Traffic Control Plan Drafter/Designer. Responsibilities: Design and draft temporary traffic control / maintenance of traffic plans to be utilized in field operations on city, county, and state roadways Research, edit, and create base map GIS resources for traffic control plans within determined jurisdictions Coordinate with project managers, drafters, clients, field personnel, and governing agency staff to design temporary traffic control setups Perform site walks / field visits and draft all field-engineering notes pertinent to designs Other duties as deemed necessary Minimum Qualifications: Basic to Intermediate knowledge of traffic engineering principles as it pertains to temporary traffic control / maintenance of traffic (US FHWA MUTCD, state, and local standards) A minimum of two years’ experience in traffic control, either in plan preparation or field setup settings A minimum of two years’ experience and Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 2005 or higher Certifications: Autodesk AutoCAD ATSSA Traffic Control Technician / Supervisor or Traffic Control Design Specialist (optional, preferred) Compensation: $20.00-$25.00/hour (equal to $41,600-$52,000 annually) Position eligible for overtime Position eligible for discretionary bonuses at the sole discretion of the company Benefits: Company-paid mental health program 401(k) with match Health, Dental, and Vision insurance $25,000 company-paid Life insurance Supplemental Life and Disability insurance Paid time off Paid parental leave Professional Development Assistance Referral program Tuition reimbursement KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
