Marian House is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) to support women in recovery as they work toward employment and self-sufficiency. This unique role combines peer support, workforce assistance, and front desk coordination in a residential program serving women rebuilding their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support with resumes, job applications, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
  • Encourage recovery, stability, and personal growth through peer support and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with the Employment Coordinator to support residents' workforce goals.
  • Serve as the front desk point of contact, answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing mail and packages.
  • Train and support residents in front desk and phone duty responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current Maryland CPRS certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in sustained recovery (3+ years preferred).
  • Experience in peer support, customer service, reception, or administrative support preferred.
  • Experience with employment services, workforce development, or resume building preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
