​Maintenance Supervisor

Baltimore, MD
$100K–$125K base + bonus

We’re hiring a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to drive accountability and improve maintenance execution at a specialty chemical manufacturing plant. This is a floor-level leadership role — not a desk job. You’ll supervise day-to-day maintenance operations across mechanical systems, lead a team of technicians, and help build a more structured, reliability-focused maintenance organization.

Required:
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment - Chemical, pharma, food & beverage, or continuous process manufacturing
Direct supervisory experience managing maintenance technician
Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems
CMMS experience (SAP preferred)
Proven experience running or improving PM/PdM programs
Experience working in a union environment
Comfortable with KPI tracking: PM compliance, MTTR, MTBF, downtime, OEE
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

Responsibilities:
Supervise daily maintenance activities and technician performance
Drive PM completion, work order discipline, and downtime response
Manage maintenance tracking and labor through CMMS
Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis
Coordinate contractors and support plant projects and outages
Track and report on key maintenance KPIs
Promote safety, accountability, and urgency across the maintenance team
Maintain strong communication between maintenance and operations
