 Job Summary
HOURS FOR THIS POSITION: Monday - Friday 6 PM - 10 PMÂ
MUST HAVE A CAR, MUST BE RELIABLE.
We are seeking a capable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support our wonderful Individuals with developmental disabilities and enhance their quality of life.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Promoting independence in daily activities, such as work, learning, and leisure.
- Facilitate the individual's inclusion in the community's experiences and activities.
- Maintaining knowledge of the individual's requirements.
- Complying with the Agency's policies and procedures.
- Maintaining documentation in compliance with the Agency's proceduresÂ
- Additional duties upon request
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a DSP or similar role.
- High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- CPR and first aid certification.
- Completion of the provided Agency training
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid vehicle insurance as specified by the MD
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand proactively and physically support the individual
- Capable of using a necessary apps your personal cell phone.
