Responsibilities

The Surgical/Motility technician in the Institute for Digestive Health and Liver Disease is a member of the peri-operative team and participates in the delivery of quality patient care to patients having gastrointestinal procedures. Under the supervision of the registered nurse and/or the gastroenterologist, the Motility tech performs selected, delegated patient care procedures. Care provided includes procedure set-up, assistance, scope processing and other unit needs under the supervision of the charge RN and Lead Procedure Tech.


Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

License Requirements:

  • Current C.N.A. license on file with the state of Maryland

Certification Requirements:

  • Healthcare Provider level CPR

USD $39.01/Hr.

Salary Information

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
