Job DetailsJob Location: BALTIMORE, MD 21210Salary Range: $2,500.00 - $2,500.00 CommissionRoland Park Country School located in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated JV Tennis Assistant Coach. As a school committed to educating and supporting the growth and development of each student, RPCS fosters an environment where students thrive by lifting each other up and leading for the greater good.     This is a part-time paid position that reports to the Director of Athletics and works closely with all members of the RPCS Athletic Department including the JV and Varsity Tennis Head Coaches. The Upper School fall tennis season begins August 17 and runs through the end of October. Upper School sports are held Monday through Friday (occasional weekends), 4:00-6:00 p.m.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Supports and executes the vision for the Tennis program at RPCS as communicated by the Athletic Department and the JV and Varsity Tennis Head Coaches.  Fosters strong relationships with the athletes and inspires them to achieve their best.  Implements proven coaching techniques and approaches that result in continued growth and success of the program.  Develops the skills of all of the tennis student-athletes in ways that prepare them for competition performance and potential Varsity level participation in the future. Works in coordination with the athletic administrative team on scheduling, game day prep, out of season workouts, uniforms, and facilities.  A strong communicator with all constituencies.  An enthusiastic supporter of all aspects of the RPCS community life including academics, arts and the entire athletic department.  Other reasonable duties as assigned from time to time by the Director of Athletics.     TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS  Local travel may be required for games and other program-related activities.  Compensation and Benefits: Stipend : $2,500 for season Seasonal employee benefits include access to on-site fitness center and discounts at school store.
