This is a part-time position, you would be required to work Monday and Thursday from 8:45am-5:30pm and Saturday from 9:45am-5pm. 

In this role, your essential functions will include:

  • Tracking all phone and walk-in traffic by recording it into the system daily; prepare weekly traffic reports
  • Assist applicants with application process and gather the supporting documentation
  • Maintain marketing materials
  • Manage vacancies by maintaining vacancy report daily, performing all checklist items to prepare vacant unit for move-in
  • Ensuring vacant apartments are ready for move-in by performing minor cleaning of fixtures, floors, windows, etc.
  • Promote resident retention through completion of tasks in Resident Retention Plan; Planning, assisting with, and participating in community events for the residents
  • Visit competitor properties quarterly to stay informed of competitor specials
  • Assist Management in establishing, promoting, and maintaining positive relations with the residents and with everyday operations of the property
  • Provide prospects, residents and vendors with assistance in scheduling building tours,  maintenance, communicating building procedures and supplying general building information. 
  • Coordinate, Market and participate in resident outreach and Marketing events  
  • Provide support to Property Managers by producing, modifying and /or distributing various forms, spreadsheets, manuals, information packages and etc. 
  • Process correspondence with residents, contractors and other third parties for Property Management staff. 
  • Maintain and update insurance certificate files for all residents
  • Assist in electronic/hard copy filing systems for all residents, invoices, purchase orders, vendors, and other files. 
  • Contribute toward operational needs by helping to provide phone coverage, administrative support related to maintaining property management operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to present a positive professional image in appearance, demeanor, and dress
  • Ability to operate PC and learn new software
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work flexible hours as business needs dictate
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • Requires weekend work and occasional evenings
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment

 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leasing and/or sales experience preferred
