Job Description 

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC/R Program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education.  The primary responsibility will be to teach (insert subject) courses.  The typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.   

Requirements 

• Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree preferred

• Certification:
  • EPA Universal
  • HVAC License
  • NATE Certification, not required but desired
  • HVAC Journeyman, not required but desired 

• At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven 

• Prior teaching experience preferred
