Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented and experienced Principal Quality Analyst to join the Advanced Tactical Program (ATP) Quality Team at the BWI plant in Baltimore, Maryland. 

As a ATP Program Quality Analyst you will be expected to personally grow and champion continuous development both personally and for your peers. What You'll Get to Do:

  • Work with a peer on a hardware LRM being developed for the ATP program

  • Participate in root cause corrective action activities

  • Participate in the troubleshooting of the hardware LRU/LRMs assigned

  • Help develop rework procedures/instructions

  • Meet with suppliers to help resolve supplier product deficiencies

  • Work with Program Engineering/Manufacturing to troubleshoot hardware issues

  • Collect metric data on assigned hardware LRU/LRM and present data at monthly PCAB meeting

  • Conduct process reviews to provide process validation, improve productivity and performance

  • Perform AS9100 audits to ensure compliance with standard requirements.

  • Prepare, maintain and review quality assurance procedures to assure compliance with customer and/or government requirements.

  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written), and organizational skills. Must work well in a team setting.  

  • Coordinate with the NGC Global Supply Chain (GSC), and the Supplier Quality and Mission Assurance functions to enhance cross harmonization of activities and initiatives.

  • Attention to detail and works with an appropriate sense of urgency.

  • Additional relevant duties as required by the program.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience; or 1 year of related experience with a PhD; or 9 years of related experience will be accepted in lieu of Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with conducting process audits

  • Experience with developing manufacturing work aids/instructions

  • Experience with SAP transactions

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance

  • US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience using SAP/S4 ERP system

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
