About the Role:
Trash Gremlin Disposal & Gremlin Mover is looking for a sharp, driven In-House Counsel to join our growing team in Lakehills, TX. This is a unique opportunity to be the legal backbone of a dynamic company operating in both the disposal and moving industries. Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, service agreements, and vendor agreements
- Provide day-to-day legal guidance to leadership and operations teams
- Ensure regulatory compliance across disposal, waste management, and moving service operations
- Manage and coordinate outside counsel on litigation and specialized legal matters
- Oversee risk management strategies and liability mitigation efforts
- Support HR with employment law matters, policies, and workplace compliance
- Monitor changes in local, state, and federal laws affecting the business
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the State of Texas (Texas Bar membership required)
- 3+ years of legal experience, in-house or private practice
- Experience in commercial contracts, business law, or regulatory compliance preferred
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics, or waste management regulations is a plus
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a practical, business-minded approach
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
