Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for an onsite Director of Pharmacy. The Director of Pharmacy Services directs, supports, and administers the business functions and some clinical functions of SCHHC pharmacy services in collaboration with hospital leadership and other SCHHC personnel. Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure is required.
  • One (1) of the following required:
    • Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency plus one (1) year pharmacy operations experience.
    • Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice plus two (2) years of pharmacy operations experience.
    • Three (3) years of pharmacy operations experience required. Two (2) years must have been in operations-focused leadership with direct Pharmacy Administration and Leadership responsibility.
  • Advanced operational experience in inventory management and drug wholesaler concerns required.
  • Previous leadership, hospital and outpatient/retail pharmacy, and 340B experience strongly preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency specifically, in Microsoft Office and online software.

This is a Full-Time onsite position that is eligible for benefits. * SCHHC pays the full employee-only amount for Health, Dental, Vision, and Basic Life & AD&D insurance. *
