Occupational Therapist OTR/L Pediatric Setting 

Do you love working with children and want to make a real impact in their lives? At Peak Potential Therapy, we're looking for a passionate, reliable, and fun-loving Occupational Therapist to join our team and work with children with special needs in a supportive, energetic environment.

As an OT, you'll play a crucial role in helping kids achieve their fullest potential by providing engaging, purposeful activities and interventions. Your work will empower children to improve their independence, health, and overall well-being.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive evaluations and treatments for children with developmental delays and Autism, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing documentation.
  • Use a variety of therapeutic strategies like sensory integration and assistive technology to support the children's growth and development.
  • Deliver targeted programs, including Handwriting Without Tears, tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, progress reports, and home-based programs.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure effective program implementation and maximize the child's potential.
  • Mentor and train colleagues, including COTAs, to enhance therapy delivery within a transdisciplinary model.
  • Lead therapy sessions in both individual and small group settings.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential case notes and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
  • Help improve therapy services by working with the team to enhance delivery and client outcomes.
  • Participate in training sessions to share knowledge with your colleagues.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Clinical Director.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working with children with developmental delays and Autism (Preferred).
  • Current State license and registration.
  • CPR certification.
  • State Criminal History and FBI clearances.
  • Passion for working in a pediatric setting and helping children with special needs.
