As a Manager Trainee at Acme Fresh Market, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Store Director in all aspects of store operations, with a focus on achieving key performance goals in sales, labor, and shrink. You’ll lead and motivate team members across departments to deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include building eye-catching displays, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and managing daily operations such as opening and closing the store. You’ll gain hands-on experience in ordering and merchandising products—including Acme’s signature bread, buns, and Food Club snacks—while working closely with vendor sales representatives. You’ll also learn to interpret Departmental Productivity Results (DPR), utilize our internal systems, and execute best practices and action plans. In addition, you’ll be trained to perform the duties of the Second Assistant when needed and will be responsible for executing store cash-up procedures. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role designed to prepare you for future leadership within our organization.
