Appalachian Children's Home is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Processing Specialist to join our administrative team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing, verifying, and maintaining data across internal systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large volumes of information effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage data accurately in company databases and systems
Review incoming information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
Identify, investigate, and correct data discrepancies or errors
Maintain organized digital and physical records
Assist with compiling reports and preparing data for program and operational use
Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive client and organizational information
Collaborate with team members to resolve data-related issues
Follow organizational policies and procedures for data management
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business administration, information systems, or related field preferred
Previous experience in data processing, data entry, or administrative support preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data management tools
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of information
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
