Overview:

Sentara Health is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Barco, North Carolina

This is a Full Time Day shift opportunity in an outpatient rehab therapy setting.

The work schedule isĀ  9 am - 5 pm

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:

  • Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist.
  • May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
  • Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
  • Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education:

  • Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)

Certification:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQIAmerican Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
