Position Purpose:

The Relief Operator provides support to the bottling floor by operating and covering multiple key production machines, including the Pase and Polypack, capper, rinser, rotary and inline fillers, and labeler. This role ensures continuous and efficient production flow by filling in for other operators and assisting with general bottling line duties as needed.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor various bottling line machinery to maintain consistent production.

• Fill in for other operators to ensure uninterrupted production flow.

• Assist with setup, changeovers, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting of equipment.

• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with company standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.

• Report any equipment issues or production delays to the supervisor promptly.

• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements

• Previous experience working in a bottling, packaging, or manufacturing environment preferred.

• Ability to learn and operate multiple types of production equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing needs.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Able to work Monday through Wednesday (overtime as needed)

• Fast paced office, warehouse and industrial environment.

• Exposure to hazardous materials such as alcohol and chemicals, loud noise, and moderate heat/cold.

• Essential physical requirements, such as frequent climbing, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching and lifting, occasionally above shoulders.

• Physical effort/lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Some overtime required.

• Able to lift, carry and pull 20 pounds or less.

• Able to kneel, squat, bend, and climb.

• Able to work around alcohol and other flammable liquids.

Schedule:

• Monday - Wednesday 5:00pm - 6:00am. Some overtime required. 

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a bottling, packaging, or manufacturing environment preferred.

• Bardstown, KY 40004 (Preferred)
