Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Assist with procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologistās expectations and protocols.
- Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
- Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
- Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
- Uses standard precautions, PPE, at all times.
Job Requirements
Required- High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies, upon hire and
- A minimum of twelve (12) months education in a JRCERT accredited School of Radiology, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
