This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, general accounting duties, and supervision of AP and AR.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly financial statements
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial management reports
- Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
- Reconcile and maintain monthly balance sheet backup
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Compile and analyze Capital Expenditure Project data for the purpose of closing projects to be added to the Fixed Asset Account System.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Accounting System
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
- Compile and analyze data needed for various tax related computation
- Ensure that all financial information is accurate and in compliance with all regulatory bodies.
- Various other duties or projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS :
- BS in Accounting
- One to five years of experience in an accounting position.
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area a plus.
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
