Job DetailsJob Location: Barling, AR 72923Salary Range: $140,000.00 Salary/yearRomark Logistics is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Barling facility, an 825,000+ square foot operation with approximately 100 employees supporting both 70-degree and freezer distribution. This large-scale, multi-functional site operates in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment and plays a critical role in supporting key customer partnerships. The General Manager will have full ownership of site performance, financial results, and leadership development. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong operational command, disciplined execution, and the ability to build alignment across a complex organization. What You Will Own Full P&L responsibility and overall site performance, including safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost control Leadership of a multi-layer management team across operations, inventory control, quality, safety, HR partnership, and support functions Establishment of a structured operating cadence supported by defined KPIs and clear accountability standards Optimization of labor planning and resource allocation to meet volume requirements efficiently Continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service performance, cost discipline, and operational reliability Development of leadership bench strength through coaching, performance management, and succession planning Strong, professional partnership with customer leadership to ensure transparency, responsiveness, and service excellence Reinforcement of company standards related to safety, compliance, and operational discipline Founded in 1954, Romark has grown into a premier logistics partner supporting many of the world’s leading FMCG, pharmaceutical, and retail brands.  We are a family-owned organization built on integrity, accountability, and long-term partnerships, with our customers and with our Romarkables.       QualificationsRequired Experience Eight or more years of progressive warehouse or distribution leadership experience Five or more years in a full site-level GM or equivalent leadership role with P&L ownership Experience leading large, multi-shift warehouse operations Demonstrated success improving productivity through structured performance management and operational discipline Strong analytical capability and proficiency using KPIs to drive decisions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and experience with warehouse management systems Track record of leadership stability and long-term organizational impact Preferred Experience Experience in food-grade, temperature-controlled, or regulated distribution environments Experience leading complex operations with high service expectations Experience driving structured change management initiatives Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma practices Leadership Expectations At Romark, our leaders build trust through reliability, fairness, and operational discipline.
