Starting Hourly Pay: $30.50
Key Responsibilities:
路 Operates and maintains manual lathe, surface grinder, and milling machine.
路 Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
路 Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
路 Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
路 Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
路 Maintains inventory of completed products.
路 Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
路 Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
路 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
路 Proficient in precision measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
路 Proficient in reading dimensional and assembly drawings.
Education and specialized skills profile:
路 High school degree or equivalent.
路 Prefer 2-year college in mechanical maintenance or vocational machinist trade or apprenticeship in related field.
路 Experience working with machine tools and mechanical assembly.
路 Working knowledge of safety protocols.
