Hospice Weekend RN

Schedule: We have multiple schedule variations available for this role. Whether you are looking for a weekend per diem or a full-time role, you will be able to choose your ideal schedule.

Per Diem 

Saturday & Sunday 8 hour days

Friday, Saturday & Sunday or Saturday, Sunday & Monday 8 hour days

Full Time

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8 hour days

Please note all schedules will include alternating weekend on call expectations

Who We're Seeking: Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families facing end-of-life challenges? Our Hospice Care team is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver personalized, one-on-one care in the comforting setting of patients' homes. Regular hours for this position are 2 - 4 days per week – a combination of Friday-Monday 8AM-5PM and acts as after hours on-call triage and runner.

Your Responsibilities: As a member of our dedicated team, you'll:

  • Provide compassionate end-of-life care, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of patients and their families.
  • Deliver expert pain and symptom management, offering comfort and support during challenging times.
  • Collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team, local physicians, and community providers to optimize the quality of life for patients.

 Requirements:

  • VT Licensed RN (BSN preferred)
  • Minimum of two years of clinical med-surg and acute care nursing experience required.   One year of Hospice experience is preferred.  Home Health experience and/or previous case management experience preferred. 
  • Valid driver’s license
