We’re looking for a driven Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead our dealership toward continued growth and success. As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll support the General Manager in ensuring profitability, operational excellence, and a superior customer experience across all departments.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to manage daily dealership operations and ensure all departments meet performance and profitability goals.  

• Lead, motivate, and develop department managers through training, goal setting, and performance evaluations.  

• Monitor sales, service, and financial metrics; provide actionable insights and recommend improvements as needed.  

• Conduct regular meetings with department leaders to align operational strategies and ensure consistent communication.  

• Oversee customer satisfaction and retention efforts, resolving higher-level concerns as they arise.  

• Assist with financial planning, forecasting, and review of monthly statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.  

• Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer representatives, lending institutions, and business partners.  

• Support the creation of marketing and merchandising initiatives that drive customer engagement and profitability.  

• Champion a positive workplace culture that fosters teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).  

• 4–10 years of progressive management experience in the automotive industry or a comparable retail business.  

• Strong financial acumen and understanding of dealership operations.  

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.  

• Proven ability to analyze performance data, make informed decisions, and execute effective business strategies.  

• Commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
