Job Responsibilities for a Member Services Attendant: Serves as the first point of contact to personally greet all customers and valet park vehicles. Provides an array of services to Members (e.g. unloading vehicles, delivering packages and mail, transportation, dog walking, washing cars) Provides a safe and secure environment as a First Responder in all areas of The Garlands’ community. Serves as liaison between The Garlands and emergency personnel, including the fire department, paramedics and 911. Responds to medical emergencies by taking appropriate and immediate action to assist the individual(s) in distress. Completes building security rounds. Assists the Maintenance department with the snow removal, when necessary. Certified in using the AED & performing CPR. (required training provided) *Some weekends and holidays may be required Qualifications Proven strong customer service skills Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience and understanding A current driver’s license in good standing Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Capable of learning a variety of safety, security and emergency preparedness measures and be able to respond calmly and professionally to all situations Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, attention to detail Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems Experience working in or with Police or Fire Department may be helpful, but not required Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Must be able to walk and stand continuously Qualifications
